Today is the dawning of a new dead, day. The 2010 Zombie Walk benefiting the North Texas Food Bank is upon us.
According to the event's Facebook page, nearly 5000 zombies are converging on the locale as they (and possibly you) attempt a world record. So don't say you haven't been warned.
If you aren't afraid of having your brains eaten, head to Good Latimer & Commerce at 3:30pm. Follow the undead horde throughout the neighborhood to 2826 Elm for a live music line up and drink specials at Arnetic.
As Zombies have a poor since of direction and are always looking for a good deal, many of the Deep Ellum eateries and bars have announced specials for the event. Among them are:
