I just couldn't choose between two great outdoor events to tell you about today. So I'll just call it a 2fer.
First up:
Oak Cliff & the Bishops Arts District have received a good amount of well-deserved media love lately...find out why this weekend at the Urban Street Bazaar.
Oak Cliff & the Bishops Arts District have received a good amount of well-deserved media love lately...find out why this weekend at the Urban Street Bazaar.
Load up on handmade goodness from 90 artisans, modern crafters, and independent designers providing all the action.
The shops and restaurants in the District will also be open with special sales & menus. And it's a pet friendly event - a bonus for me and my two dogs.

Another District looking to make name for itself as the place to be is our city's new hub of notable modern architecture and culture: the Dallas Arts District. Their opening celebration for Art in October begins today.
The Dallas Arts District will celebrate the start of Art In October with FREE admission to museums, a Pay-What-You-Can performance of Dallas Theater Center’s Henry IV, outdoor performances, tours and other activities.
Some other standouts in today's lineup:

Giveaway:
365 Things Dallas has passed the 100 followers mark on Facebook. I am pretty pleased with that milestone, considering we are just a week old.
To move things to the next level, we will conduct a special giveaway when we reach 365 followers. Help us out by hitting the "Suggest to Friends" button on the 365 Things Dallas Facebook page.
When we reach that number, we'll randomly pick a winner from among the followers. Simple Enough.
