A funny thing happened on the way to the dog park. A church service popped up.
The dog park I most often take my pups to is located just behind and maintained by a church. They recently started holding a casual outdoor service each Sunday. Last week, in honor of St. Francis, they held a special service in which pet owners were invited to bring their animals and have them blessed. It was really nice.

It got me thinking of some other ways we might be able to bring a little more spirituality into our lives. For example:
I drove by a 'Cowboy Church' in Austin yesterday, and felt compelled to look it up and see just what one was. After checking it out online, I thought, what could be more Texan? Following is one closer to home:

A really nice, low-key Buddhist service is held in the Dallas Yoga Center.
I've intentionally left this brief and without much commentary because I know how personal the topic of religion is for all...just wanted to put out some alternatives to enjoy.
