Weekend Al Fresco + Giveaway - Oct 1st

Eventually, I will stop talking about the weather. I promise.

But not yet.

I mean, have you been outside? I'm not talking about the moments between your car and office door. I am talking about substantial, "This is what it's all about" outdoor time.

Enjoying Dallas with all of the sun and none of the scorch.

 

If you need some convincing as to the weather, here ya go:

- Friday: Dallas - Sunny with a high of 82. (It's rainy & 84 in Belize.)

- Saturday: Dallas - Sunny with a high of 83. (It will be rainy & 68 in Paris.)

- Sunday: Dallas - Sunny with a high of 74. (83, but with thunder storms in Bora Bora.)

My point should be pretty clear: there is no better place to be than here, right now.

Some of my earlier entries on 365 Things Dallas have offered great ideas for enjoying the weather, sure.

But this weekend I think I'm going to need to find a good patio that...

1. Has the TX/OU game on (read: I don't have tickets, hint hint)

2. Serves ice cold beer or brain-freezing Margaritas. I'll have mine with salt, thank you...

and

3. Features great food to further stoke my "Dallas is the only place to be" fires. We have more restaurants per capita than NYC. That's right. Tell your mama.

My short list of my choices follow:

- Barcadia on Henderson: great patio, giant Jenga and some of the coolest servers in town

- Neo in Victory Park: The best pizza in town,2 patios, approx. 8 large screen TVs and a park outside

- The Gingerman and Christie's in Uptown: both are great for the game and people watching
